When my dental hygienist recommend I use a water pick, I vacillated between a counter-top model or the ShowerBreeze. Ultimately, I decided to try the ShowerBreeze. No messy counter tops to clean after use. No water reservoirs to re-fill. I can comfortably stand under the warm shower and use this for as long as I please. I'm certain I do a more thorough job cleaning than I would if I were racing against a depleting water supply or fretting re-filling half way through. Soon enough, a counter-top water pick would be just another dust collector for me.
I get a powerful stream of water even while showering. On the occasions I want to pick but not shower, I turn the valve to direct all the water through the pick before turning on the water supply. When I'm done, I need only wipe my feet.
The ShowerBreeze was easy to install; everything I needed came in the box, including pipe sealing tape. ShowerBreeze customer support was more than helpful replacing a defective plastic collar between the hose and the pick. I was able to slip the installed hose into the new collar, screw on the pick and I was happily up and irrigating again in no time. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed it until I went a few days without it.
My only request for ShowerBreeze is to offer an optional stainless steel hose and pick, which would look more elegant than plastic hanging in my shower. For anyone considering purchasing a water pick, I highly recommend the ShowerBreeze.
